Music is deeply human and its impact on our bodies, minds, emotions and spirits cannot be overstated. In this 6-week series, we’ll dive into components of music — silence, sound, rhythm, melody, lyrics and more — to explore how music touches us individually and collectively.

Nourishing Movement classes focus on varied, delicious movement that is adjustable for everyBODY set to eclectic and evocative music that will heighten your awareness and aliveness!

~ Dates for this series are Aug 7, 14, 21 & 28 and Sep 4 & 11, 1030-1130am at Center Studio at in the IX Building at 961 2nd St SE Ste 306

~ Registrations for complete series will be taken first. If space remains 1 week before classes begin, drop-in registrations for $15 will be welcomed. Click here if you’d like to get on the Drop-In Wait list.

Susan McCulley has been a mindful movement leader, artist, and writer since 2000. She is the creator of The Age of Becoming: Embodied Practices Empowering Women over 50 community which offers free movement practices & workshops, connection & community and more. Her 30-Lesson audio course, Building Balance in Your Body & Life was published on the Insight Timer meditation app in early 2022. Trained in a variety of mindful movement practices, she particularly loves guiding embodied awareness with people of all abilities and experiences, in groups of all sizes, both in person and on-line. She is passionate about supporting people as they connect with the inherent wisdom of the body and take their practice into life.
